Introduction: a movie of the house
Location: zoom as far in or out as you wish!
The house is located in Kuşadası in Western Turkey - a mediterranean region as far south as Southern Italy with a great climate in summer and moderate temperatures in winter. Although many holiday homes are put away on desolated (in winter) parks far away from the sea, Karga Yuvasi is close to the beach and the enjoyable centre of this populair city, where shops are open summer and winter.
The coastal area shelves gently to the sea and after a 10 minute walk you're at the beach at the entrance of the marina. A bit to the left is the famous cruiseport, easily recognisable on the google map.
The closest airport is near Izmir at about 75 kilometers distance, or about an hours' drive with the transfer-service of our agent. At 100 km, Bodrum airport can be an interesting alternative. Capital of the province is Aydın, about 60 kilometers inland.
House plan
Karga Yuvasi has 3 totally different storeys: eye-catcher is the large triangular terrace on
the first floor. Behind the door at the front side is a small hall with a toilet. Next is the open kitchen
with marble worktop, refrigerator, gas cooker, etc.
The living room is "split level" with a small set of stairs, separating dining room and sitting room.
The latter has a confortable angled couch with a separate "hocker": big enough for 6 people. It can easily be turned into
a large double bed with build-in storage.
The TV is connected to a tuner and satellite-dish, receiving signals from all over the world. The first floor has an
airconditioner, cooling in summer and heating in winter.
On the 2nd floor is a bathroom with toilet and shower. The washing machine is here, too.
There are 3 bedrooms: a small one with a 1-person bed and 2-doored cupboard; a larger one with a 2-person bed
and drawer-cabinet and finally the largest room with a big 1-person (or smaller 2-person) 120 cm wide bed at the bay window.
Enough storage here with a 3-door cupboard. Finally, this room leads to a balcony with a set of stairs, going to the top terrace.
All bedrooms are equipped with ventilators to keep the nights cool.
This terrace covers the whole area of the house and has a small kitchen with a great stone barbeque.
It's a fantastic place to catch the sun, but also provides enough shade to cool down at times, helped by the sea breeze.
But ultimately, the best thing here is the marvellous view on the city, hills and Aegean sea!
Pictures tell more than a thousand words on the picture page.
